Job Description: Interventional Pain Management Physician

Location: Columbia, South Carolina

Practice Overview: Join a dynamic interventional pain management practice with two sites including a brand new Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) in the Columbia, South Carolina. Our practice is led by 4 physicians and supported by a team of 5 Physician Assistants (PAs). Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and handle many patients, receiving 150-200 new referrals monthly.

Types of Procedures:

  • Radiofrequency Ablation for pain relief

  • Spinal Cord Stimulation for challenging chronic pain conditions

  • Discography to diagnose painful discs

  • Electrodiagnostic Testing for neuropathy confirmation

  • Greater Occipital Nerve Blocks

  • Trigeminal Nerve Blocks

  • Sphenopalatine Ganglion Blocks for headaches and facial pain

  • Epidural Steroid Injections (Cervical, Thoracic, and Lumbar)

  • Selective Transforaminal Epidural Injections

  • Peripheral Nerve Blocks (Face, Arms, Legs, Chest Wall)

  • Facet Joint Injections

  • Medial Branch Facet Nerve Injections

  • Sympathetic Nerve Blocks for various body regions

  • Major Joint Injections (Shoulders, Hips, Wrists, Knees, Ankles)

  • Small Joint Injections (Hands, Feet)

Job Requirements


  • Medical degree (MD or DO) and completion of an accredited residency program

  • Board certification or eligibility in Pain Medicine, Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, or similar specialty

  • Active medical license in South Carolina or eligibility to obtain one
