Our fast-paced outpatient ambulatory surgical center is seeking a reliable, hard-working licensed vocational nurse (LVN) to join our team. Accredited by the Joint Commission, Advanced Pain Center is a detail-focused, result-oriented surgical center with experienced pain management specialists whose goal is to provide top quality patient care. LVN responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1) Admits patients to perioperative setting; implements admission care
2) Supervises and directs patient care in a single operating room
3) Assists the RN and physician in providing pre and post-operative care to patients
4) Effectively organizes time, equipment, and supplies
5) Assists with inventory of supplies, medication, and equipment to maintain availability and stock levels in the admission area
6) Maintains order and cleanliness of admission area
7) Performs thorough admission of patient
8) Follows facility policy and assists in assessing the physical and emotional status of the patient upon admission
9) Greets patient and provides comfort and reassurance to the patient and supports the patient's right to privacy, dignity, and confidentiality
10) Informs patient about routine care and procedures related to the perioperative experience
11) Documents admission care according to policy and procedure
