Job Description

A pain management group in the San Diego, California area is seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our esteemed pain management practice in the San Diego, California area. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care under the supervision of physicians. This position offers an opportunity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team, providing comprehensive medical services to a diverse patient population across various age groups and medical needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by supervising physicians, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care.

  • Perform procedures such as ultrasound-guided injections, Botox administration, and other pain management techniques.

  • Provide health coaching and education to patients on preventive care, disease management, and wellness strategies.

  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.

  • Manage patient care responsibilities effectively, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery in an inpatient setting.

Job Requirements


  • Proficiency in Pain Management and Neurology; experience in Internal Medicine is a plus.

  • Strong knowledge of airway management techniques and medication administration protocols.

  • Proven experience in pain management strategies and health coaching practices.

  • Ability to work effectively in an inpatient setting with diverse patient populations.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

  • Active California License (Required).

  • Ability to commute to and work in San Diego, CA 92101 (Required).

  • Willingness to relocate to San Diego, CA 92101 before starting work (Required).
