Job Description

We are seeking a Physician Assistant to join our pain management practice in the San Diego area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working closely with supervising physicians to deliver comprehensive pain management services to a diverse patient population. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized pain management treatment plans.

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by supervising physicians, ensuring adherence to best practices and patient safety protocols.

  • Perform procedures such as ultrasound-guided injections, Botox administration, and other pain management techniques.

  • Educate patients on pain management strategies, preventive care, and overall wellness, providing health coaching as needed.

  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated and multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

  • Manage patient care responsibilities effectively, including follow-up care and monitoring patient progress.

Job Requirements


  • Proficiency in Pain Management and Neurology; experience in Internal Medicine is a plus.

  • Strong knowledge of airway management techniques and medication administration protocols.

  • Proven experience in pain management strategies and health coaching practices.

  • Ability to work effectively in an inpatient setting with diverse patient populations.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

  • Active California License as a Physician Assistant (Required).

  • Ability to commute to and work in San Diego, CA 92101 (Required).

  • Willingness to relocate to San Diego, CA 92101 before starting work (Required).
